I’m looking into buying an air cleaner/purifier. All I really want to do is to get rid of dusts floating in the air and I don’t really care about removing others like odors and other invisible particles. I also don’t want anything that creates ozon as I read that could cause bit of lung issue. I need one that will cover large area (at least 300 sq. ft). And I want to avoid expensive filters or maybe just have one that I can vaccum out. As for price, hopefully under 0. I’ve been searching on the web and haven’t really run into the kind that I like or they were very expensive. If anyone knows one that I might like, please tell me. Thank you.

Part 1 of 2, in this video VP of Sales for HealthWay, Vinny Lobdell, demonstrates the efficiency of the HealthWay CleanStation portable air cleaner. The particle counter shows that in the room there are over 200000 particles at .3 micron. Placed by the exhaust the particle count quickly drops to 0, demonstrating a 100% efficiency in capturing these particles and providing clean, healthy air!

Air-cleaner

The prifessioanl air-cleaner

I was looking at the Air-O-Swiss website because I wanted to buy something that cleans and humidifies the air. What does an air washer do? What does an air cleaner do? What makes them different?

Looking for a small ionizer and/or air purifier?

I am Looking for a small ionizer and/or air purifier to place near my new computer to help clean the air and to help keep particles out of the computer. What would be best to get, an ionizer or air cleaner? I would prefer something small and no filter to clean. I found a couple at walter drake and harriet carter that i like but i’m not sure how well they clean.

Thank you in advance
Jason

What is this thing attached to my air cleaner?

It has three valves each one with hose going to what appears to be the exhaust. I just removed it and it’s really nasty and it had water in it. The vehicle is an 86 Mazda b2000. It does currently have a blown head gasket. I removed the thing from the air cleaner and it looks like it needs a gasket. Can I clean this thing in the sink? Lol it’s really nasty.

How important is the air cleaner duct?

I just replaced the headlight on my 1995 Toyota Corolla, and had to take off what the manual called an "air cleaner duct". I put it back on when I was done, but I’m not sure how well it is sealed with the duct below it. What does the duct do, and how important is it to get a good seal?

Thanks!
