I was looking at the Air-O-Swiss website because I wanted to buy something that cleans and humidifies the air. What does an air washer do? What does an air cleaner do? What makes them different?
Anyone with allergies, asthma or bronchitis out there? Which machine do you find better to treat the air with a dehumidifier or an air purifier?
Which one do you have/or have tried?
I have been looking for an air purifier and my parents had a living air purifier for years and seemed to work pretty well. Now there less than 200 bucks on Ebay. Didn’t know if they were a scam or if there are better units on the market? I need to get something for my 2 year old quickly. Thanks!

This is a Trane “Clean Effects” Electronic Air Cleaner. This HVAC company who clearly doesn’t believe in “Do the job right, or don’t do it at all” has done it again! This time they sold the customer a Trane Clean Effects with their new HVAC system. One problem though… you can’t get part of the filter out to clean it!!!
