I am looking for something cheap that works pretty well. I know air purifiers can cost hundreds of dollars. I am looking for something under 0.

I’m a little confuse about this.

Air Ionizer, Air Purifier or Air Cleaner: What do they do?

I need one that I can put at home where it can clear germs. You see, sometimes my kids fall sick and their coughs can contaminate the air.

So, an air cleaner will be good.

If I search for a product that can clean the air, do I look for Ionizer, Purifier or Cleaner? Or something else?

It’s alot cheaper than other airpurifiers, it uses water to clean the air, mist does not come out of it like other purifiers. Should that mean something? Has any of you seen, used, or heard of this air purifier? Any reviews?

Do you have to change the filter all the time or rinse it off once a month? Are you constantly replacing parts or the only time you have to replace anything is if you break it? If you burn popcorn in the microwave…does the smell linger for days with your purifier or is the smell gone in an hour or so?

I have a Lennox furnace with a Healthy Climate Media Air Cleaner with a HCF20-16 filter. The replacement filters are 0 each from my local Lennox dealer. I have found them for 0 online. Does anyone know of any after market filters that fit this unit and are less expensive?
