2010 HD Sportster 48 vance and hines exhaust sound

I thought I’d post a new video. Got the EFI remapped on my Harley Davidson 2010 Sportster Forty Eight – had to match the fuel with the Short Shots, + installed a new air cleaner. The air cleaner does this cool de-pressurizing thing when I turn the bike off. It kinda sounds like just cracking a beer (pssst). Got rid of the reflectors on the rear fender and the fork. So if you got a Nightster, iron 883 or a bobber, watch out…

whats the most you have got out a tank of fuel up to the filler neck?, i have got 66mile an stil not run out driving around town
@mtbmarin im around the same. Planning on letting her run out one day. Gotta get my solo bag on so I can stash a small fuel bottle then I’ll know for sure
@mtbmarin when does the yellow fuel light come on? I think mine went off at 48 miles (yikes)
@lanceoa My fuel light is stuck on at the moment, sumthing up with the sensor. the dealer has orderd up a new one, when it was working it was coming on around the 48/50 miles.
@lanceoa you basically have a nightster. the only differences are cosmetic

Did you get the stage 1 download at the dealer? How does the bike run with that setup? Any popping or backfiring on decel?
I love this bike and the changes you made to it make it even sweeter.
@jcwilson78 yep, stage 1 download.. slight popping only here and there if i remember correctly. definitely a lot less now on decel

Hi from Scotland got my 48 a few days ago running in at moment cant find any information about reserve fuel light would like to know how much is left in the tank when light goes on never had harley before but it’s Awsome like your vids will be changing pipes etc soon Cheers raven

@8391raven Hi raven, I picked my 48 up from edinburgh harley at the end of may. just had the first service. the fuel light comes on around 50 mile if you have filled the tank up to the small hole at the bottom off the filler neck, best i have had is 70mile from that fill and used 5.19ltr. the tank is suposed to hold 2.1us gallon= 9ltr uk
Hi mtbmarin thanks for reply aye have been out quite alot past week and came up with the same answers , would hate to run out of fuel in our area the bike would be off even my own mates would steal it Ha Ha
